The INES Project Team faces two tasks. First, it is has to create learning tasks and respective learning materials which correspond contentwise with the Kenyan syllabus (Mother tongue, Swahili, English, Mathematics, Sciences and Religious Education) and extend it to the unique needs of the Daasanach (culture, nutrition, hygiene, livestock, etc.). Currently the INES-Project-Team focuses on the roll-out of the learning material for classes 1 to 3. Second, the INES-Project-Team has to train and supervise the community teachers, who belong to the nomadic families themselves and support the children in their education. God willing, the mobile school system will start mid 2017.
